Setting Up A Wingman Men's Ministry In Your Church

This program will need the absolute support of the Senior Pastor and the staff to be effective and successful.
|

2.
|
Wingman is a theme, not a specific Bible Study.
|
|
3.
|
It is important to have a dedicated passionate leader to facilitate this Ministry. It could be a staff member or a lay person.
|
|
4.
|
Team leadership needs to consist of between 5 to 10 people depending on the size of your church.
|
|

|
Each team member should be assigned a specific duty as it relates to the weekly meeting.
|
|

|
Each member and the leader should wear the wingman shirts. This promotes the strong backing of the church as well as the unity of the men and seriousness of the organization and of the leadership team.

|
This program is best offered on a Wednesday evening. This is an ideal time for men to get connected considering their family may already be coming.
|
|
8.
|
To effectively draw the men, there are two components that will effect the successfulness of your program.
A. Food - Having food is a critical component of this program. B. Wingman Room - A room that is as casual as possible with Wingman posters and banners hanging on the walls. |

|
Time Frame - A 45 to 90 minute meeting is optimal.
A. Leadership should greet the men as they arrive. B. Have the food ready when the men arrive to avoid lines. C. As the men are eating play Christian music in the background. D. A member of leadership should offer an opening prayer and do the announcements. E. Be sure to give the speaker a proper introduction and release the program to him. |
